Hi Ivy Families, Thanks for a wonderful last full week of school! We started with a Musical Monday and finished with a beautiful day for our Field Day! Thanks to all the parents who volunteered to make it such a memorable day for all our kids!! A huge thanks the Ivy PTA for providing lunch on Field Day..It was terrific!! Be Courageous, Be Kind Scott Last Day Line-UpIt's quickly become one of our new traditions at Ivy! On the last day, starting at 8:50am, we are going to have kids line up in homerooms outside on the blacktop(weather permitting), like we did the first day of school. Kindergarten will line-up by their door. Students taking the bus will line up on the blacktop once they arrive at school starting at 8:50. This will give parents/staff an opportunity to take class and friend pictures along with bringing us all back together one final time. Students will then enter the school at approximately 9:05 to begin their final day of the 18-19 School Year! If it does rain, we will have to cancel the gathering and do our typical line-up inside. Hope you see you Monday morning! Summer Keyboarding ChallengeStudents from each school are challenged over the summer to log into typingtraining.com and practice their keyboarding skills. Minutes practiced will be tallied and a multiplier is used to account for the different number of possible student keyboarders at each school. The school with the highest number of minutes at the end of the summer will win the coveted Golden Keyboard and bragging rights. Top student at each school gets a reward, as well. Here is a link to the competition Let’s help keep the Golden Keyboard at Ivy Hill for another year! Report Cards - MondayFamilies will receive reports cards via email throughout the day on Monday.
