Hi Ivy Families, Thanks for a great week! Congrats again to our fantastic 2nd grade students who put on a fabulous show! Have a wonderful weekend! Scott Shelter Academy of Light FundraiserFounded by George and Grace Sakwa, members of the Ivy Hill Community and natives of Uganda, Shelter Academy of Light’s immediate goal is to raise funds to purchase land on which to build a school, administrative buildings, and housing for students in K-7th grade. We would like to support them in their goal to change lives through quality education. We will be building a school in the commons at Ivy Hill School using “bricks” donated by the community. If you would like to be a part of this cause, please fill out one or more of the attached bricks, along with a suggested donation of $2 per brick (or more, if you so wish) from February 27th through March 3rd. Student Council volunteers will tape the bricks on a wall in the commons to symbolize the building of the Shelter Academy of Light.
