As your child’s classroom room representatives prepare for a small classroom party, I wanted to share some information with everyone. If your child is planning on passing out Valentines cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them. Trinkets such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc., are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Items such as goodie bags filled with treats or candy are also not permitted. Playground Color Thanks to all the parents who voted last week! The parent winner was option 2 (red, blue, grey)! Our staff and students also voted for option 2, which means that is our overall winner is OPTION 2! Final Thought A big THANKS to all our parents who have volunteered so far this year! All your hard work, planning, and dedication truly make Ivy Hill such a special place to learn and grow! I can't thank all you enough for all you've done. See you next week! Go Eagles!! Welcome Back Everyone! I hope you all had an amazing holiday break and new year celebration! I also hope you found some time to relax and enjoy family time together. It was great seeing staff and students so excited to come back to Ivy. The classrooms were fill with vibrant energy as students picked up where they left off before break! Over break, we saw a lot of progress happen with our expansion. Steel beams were put in place and the framework of our new wing and gym are in place. The project continues to be on pace which is extremely exciting! Please take a moment to see what is ahead for next week. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email or call the office. Have a great weekend! Scott PTA Events
