Hi Ivy Families! It was so fun for me to return to Ivy after my experience in Japan and see so many smiling faces that were super inquisitive about my trip. It was fun sharing my experiences and seeing their reactions! I hope you were able to follow along with me as I posted images on Twitter. If you haven’t had a chance, I encourage you to do so! I also look forward to sharing more over the next couple of weeks! Have a wonderful weekend! Be Courageous, Be Kind Scott Kids Heart ChallengeThank you so very much for your support of the Kids Heart Challenge this year in support of the American Heart Association. Your generosity is doing incredible things such as: funding research grants to find new medicines and procedures, training people to perform life-saving CPR, placing AEDs in the communities, creating strict guidelines on cardiovascular care at local hospitals and ensuring your local grocery stores have healthy food options at an affordable price. Ivy Hill has officially wrapped up the Kids Heart Challenge. Please note that while the website to donate is open year-round we have closed the window to earn thank you gifts. Our students learned how nutrition and physical activity can help them live longer, healthier lives. We also promoted community service by teaching kids how to help others and had a fun dance unit in PE to celebrate! On behalf of everyone here at our school and the American Heart Association, we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. If you want to learn more about the American Heart Association visit heart.org. ABC25It's time to grab your running shoes!!
