Hi Ivy Families, We welcomed everyone back from Break! It was fantastic to see all the smiling faces throughout the week and having time to catch up with the students about their break. We had a wonderful first week and can’t wait for all the fun and enriching experiences 2020 has to bring! Have a terrific weekend! Be Courageous, Be Kind, Be You Scott Valentines Day CelebrationsValentines parties are scheduled to happen on Wednesday, February 12th. Room reps should double check with their classroom teachers to verify the start time as they may vary by grade level. If your child is passing out Valentines cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them. Trinkets such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc., are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Items such as goodie bags filled with treats or candy are also not permitted. Thanks for your cooperation! 5 Essential SurveyAs a reminder, 4th – 12th grade students will be participating in the Illinois State Board of Education’s survey. Results of the survey are used to help identify strengths and weaknesses in their school’s learning environment. We will provide an opportunity for students to participate during the school day. Staff members in all of our schools are also encouraged to participate in the survey. District 25 has chosen to provide the optional Parent Supplement survey. We want your input! To take the survey please visit https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/ and select the appropriate survey to begin. Parent-Teacher Conferences - |
