We look forward to seeing you soon! One Book, One District! We are excited to announce that during the next 6 weeks, Ivy Hill, along with the district's elementary schools, will participate in a special project called One Book, One District! Ivy Classroom teachers will be reading the book Wishtree by Katherine Applegate. Throughout this time, students will participate in many fun activities at school and discuss the important messages in this book. As a culminating activity, we will be having a skype interview with her which is going to be super exciting! PTA ReflectionsDoes your child enjoy art, music, and dance or have an interest in writing, producing films, and taking photos? Then they should join us and have fun unleashing their inner artist with PTA Reflections! This year’s theme, “Heroes Around Me,” calls for their own unique interpretation through the arts. Look for a flyer with additional information coming home in your child’s backpack. The Student Entry Form and Rules can be found on the Ivy Hill PTA website here, https://ivyhillpta.org/2018/09/26/reflections-2018/. Projects will be due Monday, October 29. If you live on the other side of a busy road (Arlington Heights Road, Palatine Road, etc.) you can drop your child(ren) at the starting point closest to your home.
