Hi Ivy Families!
I hope you all had an enjoyable Spring Break! It was great to see all the smiling faces entering the building and hearing about all the fun students had with their family and friends. With us entering the month of April, the end of the school year is in sight. We have so many things to experience and enjoy! I’m really looking forward to a fun-filled trimester! Go Eagles! Art Show Next week we will be hosting Ivy Hill's first ever K-2 Art Show! We are excited to dedicate the night of Thursday, April 7th to celebrate our K-2 artists. On this night from 6-8pm all K-2 students will have their artwork framed and on display. You will also see 4th grade Art and Tech Club volunteers sharing their expertise on fusing art with technology! PARCC Students in grades 3 through 5 will be participating in the PARCC (Partnership for the Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers) Assessment. The PARCC assessments identify students' current performance, point the way to what students need to learn to be ready for the next grade level and, by high school graduation, for college and/or a career. PARCC will be administered as a paper-based assessment in grades 3 through 5. During your child’s testing window, you can help your child do his/her best on the test by:
