Red Ribbon Week Theme Days Monday: Wear Red Tuesday: Jeans/Boots Wednesday: Team Jersey Thursday: Spirit Wear Friday: Crazy Hair Lunchtime Readers Another fun PTA sponsored program, “Lunchtime Readers”, starts next week. It’s so exciting to see the amount of students participating! Valentine's Day Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! As your child’s classroom room representatives prepare for a small classroom party, I wanted to share some information with everyone. If your child is planning on passing out Valentines cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them. Trinkets such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc., are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Items such as goodie bags filled with treats or candy are also not permitted. Playground Color Thanks to all the parents who voted last week! The parent winner was option 2 (red, blue, grey)! Our staff and students also voted for option 2, which means that is our overall winner is OPTION 2! Final Thought A big THANKS to all our parents who have volunteered so far this year! All your hard work, planning, and dedication truly make Ivy Hill such a special place to learn and grow! I can't thank all you enough for all you've done. See you next week! Go Eagles!!
